Handmade Ceramic Hanging Bird Decoration – Blue

Description

My handmade ceramic hanging birds are playful decorations made from from stoneware clay.  I decorate them with a variety of slips and underglazes using patterns I’ve drawn and made into screens, then mono-printed onto the clay. I love the texture & almost antiqued character that printing onto the clay provides. Each bird is finished with a with a clear glossy glaze. They’re approx 10cm in length and hang from a wire hook with organza ribbon. Each one lovingly handmade and unique.

These dangly pottery birds help to add a cheery handmade touch to any space, perhaps from a shelf or as a seasonal ornament – they look just as great on a Christmas tree or dangling from a wall shelf or mantle all year round. Because each one is handmade, no two are ever exactly the same, every bird is a one-of-a-kind ceramic decoration.
