Pottery Workshop – Make a Trio of Hug Nuggets

• Session length is approx 2 hours (may be longer for larger size groups)
• Adults, teens & children (age 8/9 upwards – please check suitability with me)

You’re welcome to tell me your preferred date/time first so I can check my availability prior to booking. Daytime/evening and weekends are available (subject to my availability of course – some weekends I am busy at events).

You don’t need any prior pottery experience – I take you through the steps to make your very own trio of Hug Nuggets.

We’ll start by forming their bodies from clay, then move on to decorating them with a selection of coloured slips, cut paper stencils and stamps to achieve different designs. At the end of the session, you’ll leave your Hug Nuggets with me so they can fully dry, before I fire them, glaze them and fire them again before they’re ready.

Please note that the drying and firing processes take a number of weeks to complete. I’ll let you know when your Hug Nuggets are ready for collection, or I can arrange delivery for a small additional charge. Typical timescale is 6-8 weeks after your workshop.

This session is not suitable for younger children – please check with me prior to booking to confirm suitability for your young people. Academic year 5/6 upwards works best really. All children must be accompanied / supervised throughout, thank you.
